Children's craft activity sheets

Context

The British Museum seeks to engage with young audiences through a series of craft activities based on its exhibitions.

Audience

The activities are geared towards children aged 7–11 as well as parents and teachers. They are distributed in print at Museum events and digitally as part of the Museum’s Young Friends newsletter and the website.

Challenge

To motivate children to engage with topics from the Museum in a playful way, the activities need to be presented in a fun and clear way.

Solution

Based on the graphic system of the Museum's children's magazine, I created an illustration language including step-by-step visuals to clearly communicate the instructions.
